Archers choice: York, Hereford or Western rounds. Tickets may be purchased for each round, as a Senior (18+) or Junior (under 18) Archer. Trophies and medals will be awarded in accordance with Archery GB age categories.

EVENT: The Colchester & District Archery Club – Double WA720
Next event date: Sunday 28th September 2025.
The event consists of two Olympic WA720 shoots – each being 12 ends of 6 arrows for a total of 72 arrows at a standard 10-ring target. The WA 720 Round, (a.k.a. an Olympic Round), is a long-distance target competition. It consists of seventy-two arrows, each worth a maximum of ten points shot at a distance of 70 meters for recurve & longbow and 50 meters for barebow & compound archers. Archers shoot at:
- a 10-ring 122cm target @ 70 meters (Recurve & LongBow)
- a 10-ring 122cm target @ 50 meters (Barebow)
- or a 6-ring 80cm target @ 50 meters (Compound)
There is a 3-minute time limit for each end. The maximum score is 10×72=720 points, which is where the name of the round is derived.
