Bill Tucker shoot – 2026
20th Bill Tucker Memorial Open Shoot
Event date: Sunday 10th May 2026 – gates open at 8:30 am. Assembly at 9:30 am. Sighters for the York & Hereford rounds will be at 9:45 am. Sighters for the Western rounds will be delayed to enable the co-ordination of target moves – and to ensure that the tournament shooting finishes for all rounds near the same time.
Parking is free in the Colchester Rugby Club car park, after registration on an iPad in the CADAC clubhouse. Be aware that there is limited space for tents, so don’t be afraid to cosy up to your neighbours!
Archers choice: York, Hereford or Western rounds. Tickets may be purchased for each round, as a Senior (over 18) or Junior (under 18) Archer. Trophies and medals will be awarded in accordance with Archery GB age categories.
York: 6doz@100yd / 4doz@80yd / 2doz@60yd [1296 max score]
Hereford: 6doz@80yd / 4doz@60yd / 2doz@50yd [1296 max score]
Western: 4doz@60yd / 4doz@50yd [864 max score]
Western 40: 4doz@40yd / 4doz@30yd [864 max score]
Targets will be round foam bosses (Perris Archery Target System) on ‘H’ frames.
Archery GB Rules of Shooting will apply.
The 2026 tournament will have UK Record status.
